We are a housing ministry based on the Christian principles of decent housing for all people, regardless of race or creed. Prospective homeowners work with volunteers who build the houses as their expression of God's love.

The Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System™ encourages and accelerates global adoption of sustainable green building and development practices through the creation and implementation of universally understood and accepted tools and performance criteria.

Sacramento Habitat for Humanity (SHfH) is “going green” on our Forrest Street project. Four homes at 2765, 2769, 2773, and 2779 Forrest Street in Sacramento will be LEED certified through Davis Energy Group. SHfH is a registered member of the US Green Building Council.
