As a local affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, we are dependent on the support of the Sacramento community at large. Without this support we would not be able to build affordable housing for the low-income families that qualify for our homes. So, on behalf of the families we serve, thank you for your support.
Donations to Sacramento Habitat also help to build homes abroad. As a part of our tithe program to Habitat for Humanity International, 10% of unrestricted donations to Sacramento Habitat for Humanity go to help our sister Habitat affiliate in Nicaragua build homes.

Sponsor a Habitat Home
Home sponsors provide $75,000 in financial support for each home that Sacramento Habitat for Humanity builds. SHfH does not start the construction of any home without these sponsorships in place. Companies, foundations, churches and other organizations either contribute the full $75,000 sponsorship or we combine amounts from a minimum of $5,000 upward to reach the full $75,000. Home sponsors provide the important “seed money” to start construction while the remaining funds needed to complete our homes are provided by revenues generated by the Sacramento Habitat ReStore, mortgage payments and other ongoing fundraising efforts.
